Lost Crater
A downloadable game for Windows
Hello, Lost Crater is a themed portfolio piece with Itch.io serving as version control. This project is focusing on environment and level art but with technical and character assets as well. Other than the use of a modified Ultra Dynamic Sky (great plugin!), all assets, programming, shaders, etc are created by myself.
Constructive feedback is always welcomed and encouraged and if you know of any local game jams in Vancouver BC, please give me a shout :)
Software used: Unreal Engine 5, ZBrush, Substance 3D Painter/Designer, Photoshop, Blender, Gaea

Synopsis:
You are a MK.IV servoDroid, built for heavy labor and construction, and seemingly abandoned on a distant planet. From what you can gather, Xenos artifacts were being harvested for energy but suddenly the extraction company personnel left. Their departure left behind many resources, all locked behind a security system and sealed from access to the remaining working droids.
You recognize… that you are different. While other drones pointlessly carry out tasks to failure, you seem to understand that you have been abandoned and have taken measures to protect and fortify yourself. Was it the prior damage you sustained to your CPU and the subroutine repairs? Why and who repaired you?
Time is running out; you need to find a means to unlock the fuel cells, find out what happened to the operation, and secure a future for yourself and the other deteriorating servoDroids.
